Audrey graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology. She then pursued and obtained a Master of Science in Developmental Psychopathology from Durham University, United Kingdom.

Upon her graduation, she was attached to a non-government organisation aimed at providing educational support for children on the autism spectrum in Penang, Malaysia. She worked there several years as a teacher/therapist. She has also provided one-to-one therapy to individuals on the autism spectrum aged between 4 to 25 year olds.

Audrey was also in charge of leading and running different group therapy programs. They included play group therapy, story-telling program and music therapy. Much of the syllabus for these programs were developed by her.

She also attended a Storytelling Technique Workshop, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) course, and the Hanen Program, “Encouraging Language Development in Early Childhood Settings”. These have facilitated in her developing the skill set that is specific to helping children with autism as well as other children with special learning difficulties. Audrey has also completed the DIR®/Floortime 101 Therapy training.

Audrey was also a part-time lecturer in psychology subjects at two different university colleges under the 4+0 American Degree Transfer Program. She taught 3rd year and final year undergraduate students.

She is creative when planning curriculum and is mindful of incorporating suitable activities to meet the individual needs of children in the classroom. Audrey has a passion to work with children with special needs and, using music and movement to help them.
