Ms Grace received her training and qualification in BSc (Hons) Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Hong Kong and has more than 12 years of experiences in hospitals and private paediatric centers in Singapore and Hong Kong. Practicing as a pediatric clinician specialized in speech and language, she works closely with caretakers, teachers, occupational therapists and psychologists to deliver holistic therapy services to children, assessing and providing intervention to children with a diverse range of communication difficulties. Her interests and specialties includes autism spectrum disorders, speech and language delay and disorders, in which she takes delight in seeing every breakthrough a child makes.
Dedicated to her profession, she was appointed as an external clinical educator to supervise Master of Science (Speech and Language Pathology) students from NUS in recent years. She endeavors herself to adopt evidence-based treatment approaches and methods to work with children, maximizing their potentials and promoting their interests in learning during individual and group therapy.
Ms Grace believes that communication is a wonderful asset given to us to connect with others and to explore the beauty in this world. While there may be challenges at times, no child shall be deprived of this privilege. As a speech and language therapist, it’s her passion to make a difference in their lives, to make their learning process fun and easier, and to stand with the caretakers as their professional and supportive partner.
